Summary of Role:  

The Lead, Talent Acquisition will play a crucial role in supporting executive and critical hiring across GlobalFoundries. This position is not only focused on identifying and recruiting top talent but also on shaping the overall recruitment strategy. The individual in this role will lead many critical operational elements of talent acquisition, ensuring that the company attracts and retains the best talent to drive its success. 

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

Recruiting: 

  • Hiring: Support hiring broadly across GlobalFoundries, with a focus on recruiting executive talent by leveraging various sourcing channels such as LinkedIn, industry events, professional networks, and executive search firms. 

  • Talent Mapping and Cultivation: Conduct thorough talent mapping to identify potential candidates for executive roles. Cultivate relationships with these candidates, understanding their career aspirations and aligning them with the company's needs. 

  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, understanding their career aspirations and aligning them with the company's needs. 

Recruitment Strategy and Process Improvement: 

  • Recruitment Strategies: Develop and improve effective recruitment strategies utilizing innovative recruitment techniques. 

  • Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline and improve the recruitment process across the recruiting organization. This includes enhancing candidate experience, reducing time-to-hire, and ensuring efficient communication and feedback loops. 

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to optimize the recruitment process. 

  • Experience with AI: Leverage AI in the recruiting process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Partners: 

  • Working with HR Shared Services: Collaborate closely with HR shared services to build process improvement and sourcing capabilities. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across HR and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective recruitment strategy. 

 

Other Responsibilities:

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualification:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • 7+ years of experience in recruiting 

  • 5+ years of Executive recruiting experience  

  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to utilize data for decision-making and process improvement. 

Expected Salary Range

$88,000.00 - $154,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
