Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 Firm,  is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant with experience supporting government officials, policy advisors, or attorneys in our Washington, DC office. We are looking to add a proactive team player with a “can-do” attitude to our Communications, Internet and Technology team. This is a position supporting a collaborative team with exposure to multiple areas of law and policy.

This position does have the potential to be partially remote.

A Day in the Life

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Legal Executive Assistant. In this role, you will monitor and manage email communications, schedules, and calendars with precision, coordinating with both internal teams and external clients to schedule meetings and organize events seamlessly.  You will be responsible for managing, updating, and tracking business development documents, Excel spreadsheets, and contact lists to ensure our data is current and organized. You will also be assisting with filings, new client intake, electronic file maintenance, document editing and formatting, travel coordination, expense reimbursement, and monthly client billing. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.

  • Washington, DC the salary/wage range is between $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
