Job Description Summary
The Legal & Contracts Intern will perform a wide variety of tasks relating to Resonant’s contracts and agreements, assisting the VP, Legal in developing and improving Resonant’s contracts management system.How will you make an impact & Requirement
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviewing executed contracts and agreements with customers, suppliers, vendors and other third parties.
- Summarizing key contractual terms.
- Filing and organizing executed contracts in electronic databases.
- Assisting the VP, Legal in developing and improving Resonant’s contracts management system.
- Performing other contract and legal related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent reading comprehension and written communication skills, including the ability to concisely summarize large amounts of text.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, including interpreting complex contractual provisions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with SharePoint or other document management platforms preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent and enrolled in an undergraduate college or university or law school. Law school students and aspiring law school students are encouraged to apply.
- Interested in pursuing a legal career (e.g., as an attorney or paralegal).
- Experience working in a law firm or a corporate or non-profit legal department preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
