The role:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Complete administrative duties such as making copies, answering and directing phone calls

Coordinate appointments, including all correspondence and logistics necessary

Draft documents and letters from exising acquisitions using proper licensing templates

Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence

Correspond with counsel, court and clients

Assist with accounting and billing

Implement and improve upon administrative processes fro more efficient workflow

Qualifications & Education Requirements

High school diploma and/or Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a reputable law firm

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)

Familiarity with Legal Tracker or other matter management system is highly desirable

Ability to maintain confidentiality

A team player with customer focus

Professional demeanor

Preferred Skills

Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in composing, typing and proofing materials, planning and organizing to meet deadlines

Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate and present at all levels, both internally and externally

Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively prioritize work well in a fast paced environment

Exihibits critical thinking, problem solving and analytical ability in order to gather and summarize data for reports and find sollutions to various administrative problems

Self-organizing and motivational skills with a bias to actions and results

Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and retain information specific to the business domain
