Legal Solutions Associate (Remote)

Full-Time, Remote / Salary, Exempt

Includes Exceptional Benefits, Flexible PTO, Flexible Schedule, Equity

Steno is growing! We're looking for a Legal Solutions Associate to join our winning team, which is revolutionizing the court reporting industry every single day. We're a diverse team from all over the country (and beyond), and we're crazy about redefining the boundaries of an outdated industry.

As a Legal Solutions Associate, you'll be the bridge between cutting-edge legal technology and the people who use it every day. This is a unique role on a unique team inside a unique company — part product evangelist, part legal strategist, part trusted advisor. You'll demo our products, shape educational content, support sales and client success efforts, and serve as a go-to legal resource across the organization. There's nothing else like it in the industry.

Who are you?

You're the person who actually knows how a law firm runs. Maybe you've been a legal assistant, an office manager, or a licensed paralegal — whatever the title, you understand the rhythms of a practice from the inside out. How cases move and progress. How attorneys and their teams work together (and where things break down). How a solo practitioner's needs differ from a mid-size litigation shop or an AmLaw 100 firm. You've lived it, and that knowledge is exactly what makes you dangerous in this role.

You're also a natural communicator: quick on your feet, confident in front of a room, and just as comfortable troubleshooting case workflow strategy with a trial team as you are leading a webinar for two hundred people or stress-testing new technology. You can break down complex ideas without dumbing them down, build rapport fast, and make attorneys feel like you genuinely get their world — because you do.

You enjoy being part of a team that brings real legal credibility to cutting-edge technology, and you're eager to grow as a connector between both worlds for clients and colleagues alike.

If you're looking for a company that offers support, guidance, an abundance of killer giphys, and unlimited potential to grow into your best self, you can bet we'd love to have you too.

On a regular basis you will

  • Lead product demos and sales presentations independently.
  • Assist in developing educational content rather than owning program creation.
  • Contribute to webinars with opportunities to present.
  • Attend conferences for learning and support with opportunities to speak.
  • Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies with expectations to execute.
  • Support client onboarding while building strategic advisory relationships.

You're gonna crush it if

  • You’re a licensed paralegal.
  • You have 2–4 years of experience in the legal field.
  • You possess 1+ years of experience in client-facing or tech-adjacent roles.
  • No prior sales quota or revenue responsibility required.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel is required for this position, approximately 25% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary - $90,000 - $120,000
  • Health, Vision, & Dental Benefits - generous company-sponsored health plans for both employees and dependents, including comprehensive vision & dental
  • Wellness/Mental Health - shared benefits to be used among employees and families
  • Flexible Paid Time Off - allowing employees to find balance in their lives
  • Options of Equity - we know our success is nothing without our team
  • Access to a 401k through Guideline
  • A home office setup and a monthly stipend to offset internet and phone costs
