Job Summary:
Litigation Support: Primary role involves working with internal and external attorneys on legal claims and litigation matters. Heavy focus on all aspects of document collection, including managing complex e-discovery projects across all company organizations. Often involves product and technical information. Strong problem solving skills for electronic document collection, management and review is essential to the role.
Administer litigation holds
General support for NXP worldwide for patent, securities, antitrust, contract, trademark, tort, employment, and general business disputes. Work on employee witness identification and coordinating depositions, hearings and trials.
Primary intake for various legal notices, including bankruptcy, notices of production, third party subpoenas, services of process and third-party document requests.
Assist with tracking of all legal claim matters. Demonstrated excellence with organizational skills and attention to detail.
Collaborate on outside counsel management, including budgeting and electronic bill review through CounselLink.
Key Challenges:
High volume and ‘fast-paced’’ flow of substantive work that demands efficient and quality-oriented responses.
Critical thinking & problem solving is a must.
Work in proactive, agile, collaborative, effective and creative ways to provide solutions daily to urgent and unexpected problems and deadlines.
Ability to manage assigned work and prioritize on-the spot support.
Be able to work across regions and time zones due to the global nature of the company with respect for cultural differences.

Candidates need strong social and communication skills to interact with co-workers in a global company and explain various legal matters.
Interested in Legal Technology and Law
Ability to work well in a support function potentially interacting with all other organizations within the company including Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, Finance and Businesses.
Job Qualifications:
Comfortable with technology and ability to utilize various software systems including e-discovery platforms such as CasePoint
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Co-Pilot), including manipulating large data sets in Excel. Additional IT experience is a plus.
Bachelors or Associates Degree with interest in seeking Paralegal Certification.
Experience with e-discovery project management involving large volumes of documentation.
Have 7+ years experience working as a litigation paralegal in a large corporation or law firm (corporate experience preferred). Patent litigation experience a plus.
