The Role

As Global Localization Manager, you’ll scale LearnLux’s international offering and lead our localization strategy to bring our financial wellbeing solutions to users around the world. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, and Commercial as well as external translation and localization vendors to ensure our content and programs are culturally relevant, accurate, and accessible.

This role blends project execution, vendor coordination, and process improvement. You’ll be deeply involved in implementing internationalization (i18n) workflows, managing translation assets, and enhancing globalization efforts across platforms to support LearnLux’s international growth in more than 100 countries.

This role is 100% remote within the US and reports to the Sr. Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of LearnLux’s product and member experience to identify localization needs, streamline workflows, and improve global content quality.
  • Lead localization and globalization strategy across LearnLux’s product and marketing channels.
  • Provide hands-on support for time-sensitive localization efforts, ensuring LearnLux meets external commitments without compromising quality.
  • Partner across teams to drive the scaling of global translation efforts, contributing to vendor evaluation, onboarding, and effective ongoing collaboration and partnership management.
  • Partner across teams to expand global translation efforts, including vendor evaluation, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Manage and improve localization workflows across languages and platforms using automation and technology to enhance accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Maintain and evolve glossaries, translation memories, and style guides to ensure brand and tone consistency across markets.
  • Own the localization QA process to ensure linguistic, cultural, and contextual accuracy. Establish review standards, manage feedback loops, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Establish and track SLAs to monitor quality and delivery performance. Support data collection and reporting on localization cost, turnaround times, and translation quality.
  • Help internal teams understand localization best practices, internationalization principles, and inclusive global-ready content creation.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in localization, globalization, internationalization (i18n), translation management, or content operations, ideally within fintech, financial wellness, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Hands-on experience with localization management systems (e.g., Smartling, Lokalise, Transifex), language service providers, CMS platforms, and AI translation workflows.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent localization projects.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across disciplines, time zones, and cultures.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement.
  • Comfortable switching between strategic thinking and tactical execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality localization projects on time and achieving departmental KPIs.
