We are seeking a LVN Nurse Supervisor. The Nurse Supervisor assists the Director of Nursing in administering, directing and coordinating all activities of nursing services to ensure meeting the nursing needs of the residents.
- Make daily rounds to all nursing units, ensuring that all staff are present, supplies are stocked and readily available, resident care needs are being met, and the unit is running smoothly.
- Visit and follow up with families and elders, reviewing clinical records, documenting and communicating as appropriate, and being proactive with family communications.
- Assure accurate and complete nursing documentation by regularly reviewing documentation in the EMR; follow up with staff to complete documentation and provide education as needed.
- Provide supervision, support, and direction to nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and compliance with established nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor elders for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up, documentation, and communication with physicians, families, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Assist with resident assessments, admissions, transfers, discharges, physician orders, treatments, and other clinical needs as appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining the department in full compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Assist with staffing needs and provide nursing coverage as needed. Must be able to pick up any nursing shift in the case of a call out or staffing need, on a rotating basis with other nursing supervisors.
- Promote quality care, resident safety, dignity, and a positive experience for elders and their families.
- Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Current Texas LVN license required.
- Previous senior living, long-term care, or supervisory experience preferred.
