Job Overview:
The M&A Integration Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating post LOI integration activities through close and postclose review. This role serves as a central point of accountability for integration execution, governance, and crossfunctional coordination to ensure successful outcomes for acquired firms.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day integration execution across multiple concurrent transactions.
  • Drive and support integration governance, including escalation paths, issue resolution, and risk management.
  • Hold cross-functional teams accountable for developing, maintaining, and executing integration project plans, timelines, and status reporting.
  • Provide direction and coordination with crossfunctional teams (e.g., Finance, HR, IT, Operations) to gather data, track progress, and resolve issues.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Corporate Development, Integration, Practice, and Functional leaders throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Prepare and deliver integration updates, dashboards, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and firm leadership.
  • Drive discipline and follow through across acquired firms, internal teams, and functional subject matter experts.
  • Document, maintain, and continuously improve integration processes, templates, and playbooks.
  • Independently identify and resolve integration challenges, escalating strategically when needed.
  • Collaborate with diligence resources to ensure effective handoff from diligence to integration.
  • Participate in post-close reviews and lessons learned sessions to inform continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in project management, preferably within an acquisition or integration environment.
  • Experience in M&A and professional services; prior exposure to integration and diligence strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to operate independently while aligning closely with leadership direction.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • High level of comfort presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $117,000-$158,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
