Job Description:

About the Role

The M&A Project Manager will support the execution of the company’s growth plans in the energy sector by coordinating and managing M&A processes and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate bidding processes for the acquisition of energy projects, ensuring robust analysis, documentation, and strategic alignment.

  • Manage and oversee transaction execution when bids are awarded, ensuring smooth progress across all workstreams.

  • Drive the negotiation of purchase agreements in close collaboration with the Legal department.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Ferrovial’s Finance team, supporting and coordinating all Due Diligence activities.

  • Monitor and supervise compliance with contractual conditions throughout the entire closing process.

  • Ensure effective information flow among finance, analytics, development, legal, and technical teams during M&A transaction execution.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with further education in finance).

  • Strong knowledge of project finance is essential.

  • Preferably, a Master’s in Finance, MBA from a top-tier business school, or CFA certification.

  • Proven experience in M&A operations within the infrastructure sector, particularly with complex financing structures.

  • Fluency in English (near‑native or very high level).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
