As a Machine Learning Engineer III, you will be a primary stakeholder and key developer for the complete end-to-end ML Ops lifecycle at Guidewire. This role is critical to designing, testing, and building infrastructure for Guidewire’s AI and ML models, creating data solutions, developing automated systems, and deploying models at scale. Job Description

What you’ll do
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust ML Ops infrastructure to support Guidewire’s AI and ML initiatives.

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and automated systems for model training, testing, and deployment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient AI solutions that address evolving customer needs.

  • Develop and implement best practices for monitoring, versioning, and maintaining ML models in production environments.

  • Drive adoption of AI and GenAI capabilities across Guidewire’s product portfolio, supporting operational excellence and transformative innovation.

  • Contribute to the launch of new AI-powered products and features, ensuring measurable value and customer success.

  • Mentor and support team members in AI/ML engineering practices and foster a culture of continuous learning.

What you’ll bring
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply it to your current role as well as data-driven insights to drive innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong experience in ML Ops, including designing and deploying end-to-end machine learning pipelines.

  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Solid understanding of data engineering, model monitoring, and CI/CD for ML systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, collaboration, and communication abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to evolving priorities.

  • Commitment to Guidewire’s values of curiosity, collaboration, and customer-centricity.

Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with insurance technology, large-scale data systems, or regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with GenAI, data privacy, and security best practices.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 - $192,000 . Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
