Role Overview:

Could you be our next Maintenance Technician? Globe Life is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team!

In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of buildings and their systems to ensure they remain in good working condition. Their duties typically include performing routine inspection, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs across various areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility maintenance.

This is an on-site position located in McKinney, TX.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct regular inspection of buildings and systems to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts in equipment and facilities.
  • Handle basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
  • Maintain and repair doors, windows and other structural components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep maintenance logs and reports on daily activities.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.

What You Can Bring:

  • Proven experience as a building maintenance technician or similar role. 
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. 
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently. 
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
