About Incline P&C Group

Incline P&C Group is a privately owned company, backed by private equity and its original founders, with an exclusive focus on the property and casualty program insurance market. The company writes approximately $2+ billion in premiums through its A-rated and managed carriers. Incline has a team of over 100 employees headquartered in Austin, Texas.

Incline Insurance Group is seeking a Manager, Data & Analytics to lead the enterprise reporting and analytics function, shaping how data is governed, integrated, analyzed, and used to support business decisions across underwriting, actuarial, finance, reinsurance, and operations.

This leader will set the direction for enterprise data quality, reporting, and analytics while remaining close to the technical and operational realities of a growing P&C program insurer. The Manager will partner with business and technology leaders to strengthen the enterprise data warehouse, support major system implementations, and deliver reliable, decision-ready insights.

What You Will Do

Data & Analytics Strategy: Develop and execute the enterprise data and analytics roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business value, data integrity, scalability, and regulatory needs. Establish reporting standards and a clear operating model for the function.

Enterprise Data Integration: Oversee the ingestion, transformation, and standardization of premium, claims, billing, endorsements, policy lifecycle, and MGA-sourced data. Ensure effective integration across Duck Creek Reinsurance, Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, and related systems.

Data Governance & Quality: Establish ownership, definitions, controls, documentation, and monitoring practices for critical enterprise data. Direct resolution of complex reconciliations and discrepancies across data platforms and financial and operational reporting.

Data Architecture & Platforms: Partner with IT and engineering teams on Snowflake data models, SQL transformation logic, pipeline design, and warehouse performance. Help define scalable architecture and data-management practices that support the company’s growth.

Enterprise Reporting & Business Insights: Lead the development of trusted executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions using Power BI, QuickSight, or comparable tools. Support analysis of underwriting results, claims trends, portfolio profitability, reinsurance performance, and financial outcomes.

Automation & Advanced Analytics: Identify opportunities to reduce manual reconciliations and reporting work through automation, SQL, Python, and modern data tools. Evaluate predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and AI-enabled use cases with appropriate governance and practical business value.

Systems & Transformation Leadership: Represent the data and analytics function in enterprise implementations, including requirements, mapping, testing, migration, and adoption. Partner with stakeholders to ensure reliable downstream reporting and controls.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders in Finance, Actuarial, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Operations, and IT. Translate business questions into actionable analytics priorities and communicate technical findings in clear business terms.

Team & Vendor Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop data and analytics professionals as the function scales. Establish clear priorities, delivery standards, and accountability; manage relevant external partners and resources.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a data and analytics leader who combines strong technical judgment, P&C insurance knowledge, and the ability to build a scalable enterprise capability.

Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data, analytics, business intelligence, or data operations, including experience leading teams, programs, or major cross-functional initiatives. Insurance industry experience strongly preferred; P&C program, fronting, MGA, or reinsurance exposure is particularly valuable.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Technical Expertise: Strong command of SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT, enterprise data warehousing, and analytics platforms. Experience with Snowflake, cloud data environments (AWS preferred), and reporting tools such as Power BI or QuickSight. Familiarity with Python, dbt, Matillion, or comparable technologies. Familiarity with automation, API Integrations and understanding of end to end data flows.

Insurance & Financial Data: Understanding of policy, premium, claims, billing, and reinsurance datasets, with the ability to connect data controls and reporting to financial and operational outcomes. Hands-on understanding of bordereaux data, premium and loss reporting.  Understanding of data transformations and validations to ensure quality data for downstream systems and reporting. Familiarity with Duck Creek, Workday, Salesforce or regulatory reporting.

Partner Data Strategy and Intake: Define and maintain data standards, templates, and mapping layers for premium, loss, and exposure bordereaux across MGAs and program partners. Design a repeatable partner onboarding process, including data requirements, testing, and go-live criteria.

Leadership & Business Partnership: Demonstrated ability to set priorities, influence senior stakeholders, develop talent, manage competing demands, and deliver measurable improvements in data quality, reporting reliability, and business decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, data governance programs, automation initiatives, and applied AI/ML or advanced analytics in a regulated environment.
