Summary of Role:

The Manager, Data Business Intelligence leads the strategy, governance, delivery, and adoption of enterprise business intelligence and analytics capabilities across global corporate and manufacturing organizations. This role is responsible for enabling data-driven decision making at scale through the modernization of enterprise analytics platforms, development of self-service capabilities, and deployment of AI-powered business intelligence solutions.

Serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership, the role drives enterprise transformation through Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot for Power BI, and related technologies. The position balances business strategy, technology leadership, organizational change management, and talent development to deliver measurable business value while establishing scalable, governed, and secure analytics ecosystems.

Essential ​ Responsibilities:

  • Lead a global team responsible for business intelligence development, analytics engineering, and reporting platforms supporting manufacturing, supply chain, finance, HR, commercial operations, engineering, and corporate functions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making across the enterprise.
  • Own Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI platforms for the enterprise, including platform strategy, architecture, governance, security, adoption, and operational excellence.
  • Drive modernization of legacy analytics environments through cloud-first architectures, platform consolidation, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
  • Establish enterprise governance frameworks for reporting standards, semantic models, data visualization, and citizen development programs.
  • Lead enterprise adoption of self-service analytics by developing reusable semantic models, training programs, and enablement frameworks.
  • Influence organizational change management efforts to increase adoption of new technologies, analytics platforms, and AI-powered capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven success leading globally distributed technical teams and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and strategic consulting capabilities.
  • Experience influencing decisions across multiple business units and functions.
  • Experience managing managers, technical leads, business intelligence developers, analysts, and analytics engineers.
  • Strong change management, communication, coaching, and talent development skills.
  • Ability to build high-performing teams and scale organizational capabilities.
  • Expertise in enterprise business intelligence, analytics architecture, reporting, and performance management.
  • Experience designing and governing enterprise self-service analytics ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, semantic layer design, KPI frameworks, and analytics governance.
  • Experience supporting large-scale global user communities with diverse analytics needs.

Technology and Platform Experience

  • Microsoft Power BI and Fabric Capacity Management, QlikView
  • Semantic Models, Dataflows
  • Enterprise Reporting Platforms
  • Analytics Governance Frameworks
  • Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio
  • Copilot for Power BI, Microsoft Fabric Data Agents
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT Frameworks, Cloud Data Warehousing Technologies
  • SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years in a leadership role with proven experience in business intelligence development, design, performance tuning and optimization
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale business intelligence, analytics, data platform, and transformation programs.
  • Experience within global manufacturing, semiconductor, technology, or industrial organizations.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, enterprise cloud analytics platforms, and AI enablement initiatives.
  • Experience establishing enterprise governance models for analytics, AI, and self-service data platforms.
  • Industry certifications related to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, AI, data architecture, or enterprise technology leadership.

Expected Salary Range

$124,000.00 - $208,000.00
