Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, compliance, and financial controls. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), month-end close processes, financial reporting, and stakeholder management.

 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage General Ledger accounting and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Asset accounting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and MIS reports.

 

Audit & Compliance

  • Coordinate and manage statutory audits, internal audits, and financial statement reviews.
  • Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements and internal governance policies.
  • Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for all financial transactions.
  • Strengthen and monitor internal financial controls and compliance processes.

 

ERP & Process Management

  • Act as the Finance SME for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
  • Manage and review accounting transactions within D365.
  • Support ERP enhancements, UAT testing, process improvements, and system implementations.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
  • Drive process automation and standardization initiatives within the finance function.

 

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor accounting team members.
  • Review team deliverables and ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
  • Support capability building and performance management of team members.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and shared service teams for smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 5-6 years Post Qualification Experience in Finance & Accounts.
  • Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, audits, and internal controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is mandatory.
  • Experience in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in multinational organizations, professional services, consulting, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Exposure to global reporting environments.
  • Experience managing a small finance team.
