Responsible for managing and supporting Oracle Financials in ERP Cloud, ensuring compliance, training users, and improving business processes with a significant accounting background required.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Manager Financial Systems. This position will be
involved in the development, implementation and support of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud.
The Manager Financial Systems is a member of Ziff Davis’ Enterprise Applications team,
working closely with Accounting, Finance and other business teams to meet the
business needs
This is an individual contributor role with 100% hands-on responsibilities for configuring
and supporting Oracle Fusion. Accounting background is required (preferably CPA)
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage, support and implement Oracle Financials modules in ERP Cloud
● Support users through day to day, month-end and year-end activities. Must have prior
experience of this
● Research and analyze business processes and identify areas for improvements
● Ensure SOX compliance by documenting system changes and permission changes
● Assist accounting team members with documenting and improving upon existing
processes
● Stay up to date on system functionality and monitor new releases for potential areas of
improvement
● Provide user trainings on system functionality and processes
● Troubleshoot any system issues that arise and provide timely solutions
● Perform any data cleansing work as needed to improve reporting/processes.
● Employ creative solutions to complex problems that may arise.
Job Qualifications:
● Significant accounting background (CPA preferred)
● 10+ years of experience supporting Oracle, at least half on Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud
● Experience with system financial audits and controls
● Superior written and verbal communication skills
● Complete comfort working with finance and accounting users at all levels
● Deep knowledge of modules GL, GIS, AP, Cash Management with Procurement
preferred. Knowledge of Order to Cash is a plus
● Experience supporting acquisitions and divestitures a plus
● Basic understanding of Role structures
● Familiarity with OTBI and basic Oracle table structures
● Experience writing documentation for and performing training
● Ability to design, propose and document dynamic solutions
● Working in end user environments to support day to day and close activities is required
● Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and quickly adapt to an evolving environment
● Experience working in a Global, Multi-Entity, Multi-Currency environment is required

Compensation Range
Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $180,000 to $190,000 and may be eligible for a bonus. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
