CyberSheath Services International LLC is a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider primarily focused on providing Cybersecurity services to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). We are excited to be expanding our staff due to our growth and are looking to add to our team!

Job Overview

The Manager of IT Engineering is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, delivery, and performance of all engineering operations within the CyberSheath. This position ensures that infrastructure, cloud, and compliance engineering teams deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions that meet client requirements while driving the company’s long-term technical vision. The Manager of IT Engineering will collaborate closely with executive leadership, technical teams, and clients to align engineering initiatives with business growth and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Execute the overall IT engineering strategy to support service delivery, infrastructure innovation, and client satisfaction.
    • Partner with the executive team to align technology engineering initiatives with company goals and revenue targets.
    • Anticipate future technology needs in the MSP space and develop roadmaps for automation, scalability, and modernization.
  • Engineering Management
    • Lead and mentor teams of systems engineers, cloud engineers, network engineers, compliance engineers, and project implementation teams.
    • Establish standards and best practices for configuration management, implementation, and documentation across client environments.
    • Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget for enterprise clients.
  • Operations and Service Excellence
    • Collaborate with Service Delivery and NOC/SOC leaders to ensure seamless escalation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
    • Implement automation, monitoring, and orchestration tools to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security frameworks (CMMC Level 2), and client-specific requirements.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement
    • Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and platforms to enhance MSP service offerings.
    • Drive adoption of cloud services (Azure, AWS, M365, GCP) while ensuring security and cost optimization.
    • Champion continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and DevOps workflows tailored for MSP clients.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as a senior technical advisor to clients, helping design and implement complex infrastructure and cloud solutions.
    • Collaborate with the Sales and Account Management teams to support technical pre-sales efforts, solution design, and proposals.
    • Build trust with clients by ensuring engineering solutions align with their business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure and engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity within a managed service provider or consulting environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale enterprise environments, hybrid cloud solutions, and security frameworks.
  • Strong technical depth in Microsoft technologies (M365 GCC and GCC High, Entra ID, Intune, Azure IaaS including in Azure Gov), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with ITIL principles, change management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent business acumen, ability to translate client needs into technical solutions, and strong communication skills across all levels.

Budgeted Pay Range
$155,000$175,000 USD
