About this Position

The Manager, M&A Integration is responsible for leading the operational integration of acquired businesses from transaction close through full operational stabilization. This role serves as the central integration leader responsible for coordinating business units, driving accountability, and ensuring acquired companies are successfully embedded into Net at Work's operating model. Rather than simply managing a 60–90 day transition, this role remains engaged until integration objectives have been achieved and the business is operating independently within Net at Work's standards, processes, systems, and culture.

Working closely with executive leadership, Finance, Operations, IT, People & Learning (Human Resources), Customer Success, Sales, Legal, Marketing, and Professional Services, the Manager drives execution of integration plans while proactively identifying risks, removing roadblocks, and ensuring strategic initiatives remain on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills, and can influence leaders across the organization without direct reporting authority.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive sponsors to establish integration priorities, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive integration roadmaps, work plans, milestone schedules, risk registers, issue logs, dependency trackers, and executive status reports.
  • Support integration planning during due diligence by identifying operational requirements and potential risks before close.
  • Manage relationships with acquired leadership teams and sellers throughout the integration lifecycle, serving as the primary operational point of contact.
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization and foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented integration culture.
  • Lead operational integration activities from the completion of initial customer onboarding through long-term operational stabilization for multiple acquisitions simultaneously.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Financial Operations, IT, Infrastructure, People & Learning, Operations, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Marketing, Procurement, and Legal.
  • Coordinate organizational transitions, policy alignment, and change management activities.
  • Coordinate billing conversions, ERP transitions, CRM alignment, reporting, and operational process standardization.
  • Coordinate technology migrations including user access, infrastructure, security, collaboration tools, and business applications.
  • Partner with Finance on purchase agreement obligations including earnouts, APA holdbacks, Due To/Due From reconciliations, and financial integration activities.
  • Identify operational, financial, technology, customer, and organizational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Drive accountability by facilitating recurring integration meetings and ensuring action items are completed on time.
  • Prepare executive dashboards and regularly communicate integration progress, accomplishments, risks, and decisions requiring leadership support.
  • Document lessons learned following each acquisition and continuously improve integration playbooks, governance models, templates, and best practices.
  • Ensure ownership is successfully transitioned to business leaders only after integration objectives have been achieved.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives, integration programs, PMO, consulting, business transformation, or M&A integration.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and build credibility across all levels of an organization.
  • Technology services, managed services, consulting, SaaS, or private equity-backed experience preferred.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools; PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Prosci certification is a plus.
