Manager, Master Data Management – Catalog

Stitch Fix’s Global Catalog team is looking for an experienced, people-focused, action oriented and empathetic Manager to join our team to help propel the next generation of our catalog data platform forward. This team enables critical business functions such as direct to consumer Freestyle experiences, Stylist Fix building capabilities, and advanced data science solutions and algorithms.
You will build and manage a team of data engineers implementing products and solutions that live at the core of data enablement in our uniquely data driven business. As an integral leader in the organization, you will spend your time helping your team focus their time where they are needed most. Your commitment to applying data and technology principles to business challenges in innovative ways will make you a trusted advisor to your partners and your team.

• Have the opportunity to help guide, develop and continue to grow a passionate group of engineers building the future of data technology at Stitch Fix

• Work collaboratively as a distributed team across the US, and we use GitHub, Slack, and Zoom extensively to collaborate in a meaningful way
• Help us continue to develop new methods of collaborating with close partners across engineering and other teams

• You have 3+ years of experience cultivating and managing high-performing teams
• You have 5+ years working with master data implementations in the product domain
• You have hands-on experience implementing global Master Data Management with broad adoption across a range of data consumers with unique use cases

Working in a greenfield space, you are passionate about data technology and are able to lean into your background to draw upon expertise in the data technology space. You may have a background in:

• Modern retail challenges, data models and data flows
• Product Master Data Management or Product Information Management
• Data modeling and data object modeling
• Understanding Data as a Product and how to ingest, structure, and serve data to meet business needs
• Master Data Management platforms
