Job Description: Manager, Project Engineering
Reports to: Director of EPC & Operations

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of EPC and Operations, Manager, Project Engineering will oversee the technical aspects of solar and energy storage projects, ensuring engineering deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. This role supports all phases of project execution, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical issues and drive successful outcomes.
Essential Functions:
- Lead technical review of project design packages (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC), studies and analyses.
- Conduct technical reviews of contracts, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
- Ensure all project designs and technical documents comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ensure design and engineering deliverables align with schedules and milestones.
- Provide technical support during all phases of a project's lifecycle, from early development to final commissioning.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, suppliers, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
- Support project teams in addressing RFIs (Requests for Information) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Collaborate with internal project management, procurement, and operations teams to support execution.
- Identify risks and propose technical solutions to maintain project performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering degree (required). Master’s degree (preferred).
- Three plus (3+) years’ experience in solar and/or energy storage engineering (required).
- Previous experience in technical oversight and review for at least five major solar and battery storage projects.
- Strong understanding of utility-scale project design and construction processes.
- Extensive experience in AutoCAD, Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
