Who we’re looking for

Fieldwire is seeking a driven and energetic Manager of Sales Development, to help grow our footprint in the construction industry by generating and qualifying new sales opportunities within the small and mid-sized business (SMB) segment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to break into tech sales, learn from a high-performing team, and make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

As the Manager of Sales Development, you’ll guide and empower a dynamic team of Sales Development Representatives within our rapidly expanding company. The primary goal for SDRs is to accelerate our sales pipeline by engaging leads from multiple sources. Together with your team, you'll focus on the SMB and Mid-Market sectors in construction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who excels at shaping high-performing sales teams and influencing the direction of our sales organization. What you’ll do as a Manager of Sales Development:

  • Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives, providing them the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results for the business
  • Evolve our playbooks by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies that will increase deal sizes, resolve complex use cases, and drive more revenue to the company
  • Shape the strategy and grow the Sales Development team at Fieldwire, through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Sales Development Representatives
  • Create and establish strategic prospecting training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor your direct reports on strategies that can help create pipeline
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure buy in and ongoing development support from key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop an agile organization that utilizes decision frameworks to guide strategic direction while maintaining a willingness to initiate, iterate, and refine processes in order to achieve objectives.

We’re looking for you to have the following skills and experiences:

  • Have 2-5 years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years of management/leadership experience of SDR’s / BDR’s.
  • Offer experience in B2B SaaS sales and sales management.
  • Have experience prospecting into various market segments and personas.
  • Experience in growing SDR teams is advantageous.

Compensation

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $90,000-$100,000.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and Maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, you may be eligible for a compensation variable bonus which can range up to $45,000
