WE ARE STARFACE

Starface World is reinventing the way we care for acne-prone skin as the first complexion brand to combine efficacy and optimism. We take skincare concerns that were once thought of as flaws and translate them into an opportunity for expression.

Starface World is a positively uplifting place where everyone is safe & accepted exactly as they are. We support causes and do our own work in the world to help build a better, more supportive universe. The same thinking applies to the way we care for skin: we don’t identify flaws or imperfections, we just nurture what’s there—it’s perfect because it’s all just skin.

Our team is a small (but growing) group of committed individuals who are passionate, empathetic, creative, and eager to learn. We are committed to a sustained focus on diversity, equity, anti-racism, and inclusion.

your impact @ Starface

Starface is seeking a Manager, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to help strengthen how we plan, prioritize, and make decisions across our fast-growing business. Reporting directly to the Director of S&OP, this role fully owns the demand forecast across assigned channels and SKUs and plays a central role in translating complex, imperfect data into clear, executive-ready insights that leadership can rely on to make smart decisions around growth, inventory, and risk.

The right person for this role is an experienced planning professional who is comfortable operating independently and collaboratively, navigating ambiguity, and building structure while supporting continued business momentum. You’re grounded when things get messy, curious about the “why” behind the numbers, and confident partnering cross-functionally to align teams around a realistic and actionable plan.

At Starface, we love people who defy convention and bring curiosity, structure, and clarity to everything they do. If you’re excited about owning a forecast end-to-end, continuously improving how a business plans and scales, and helping leadership make better decisions through data, we want to hear from you.

we’ll count on you to

Demand Planning & Forecast Ownership

  • Own and maintain the demand forecast across DTC and retail channels with minimal oversight
  • Build, run, and maintain statistical forecasts using planning tools and historical data
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias by channel, customer, and SKU
  • Identify drivers of forecast error, proactively surface risks, and recommend corrective actions
  • Incorporate promotional activity, marketing plans, and NPD milestones into forward‑looking forecasts

Supply, Inventory & Risk Planning

  • Translate approved demand plans into high‑level supply and procurement strategies aligned with lead times, capacity constraints, and business priorities
  • Partner closely with the Supply Chain Analyst on inventory health, risk reviews, and disposition planning
  • Support allocation and balancing of inventory across distribution centers
  • Identify potential stockout or overstock risks early and collaborate cross‑functionally on mitigation plans

S&OP, Reporting & Executive Communication

  • Prepare clear, concise, and executive‑ready materials for monthly S&OP and leadership meetings
  • Turn complex and messy datasets into clear narratives, dashboards, and visuals leadership can act on
  • Clearly communicate risks, opportunities, tradeoffs, and recommended actions
  • Help establish a disciplined, reliable monthly S&OP cadence that leadership trusts
  • Continuously improve reporting structure, cadence, and clarity as the business and data maturity evolve
  • Leverage planning tools, automation, and data storytelling to elevate decision‑making across the organization

this role is for you if

  • You have 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, and/or S&OP
  • You have strong experience supporting retail and omnichannel businesses (DTC + wholesale)
  • You have advanced Excel skills
  • You’ve worked in a scaling consumer or CPG business and are comfortable with imperfect data and fast timelines
  • You can fully own a forecast end‑to‑end and operate independently with real accountability
  • You’re confident building structure and process without adding unnecessary friction
  • You’re highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and grounded when priorities shift
  • You’re a strong communicator who can translate data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • You’re comfortable working in ERP and planning systems; experience with Atomic, NetSuite, and/or Forecast Pro is a strong plus
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced, fully remote, highly cross‑functional environment

salary & benefits

  • The compensation range for this role is a $90,000-$110,000 base salary depending on level of experience + bonus eligibility.
  • Additional benefits include:
    • Access to high-quality health care options
    • Access to a 401k with 5% employer match eligibility
    • 4 weeks of vacation plus up to 20 paid holidays
    • 12 weeks fully paid parental leave
    • 5 days of pet-ernity leave for pet adoption
    • Home office & internet supplement stipend
    • Annual learning & development stipend
    • Flexible Fridays, and Summer Fridays
    • Fully remote work environment
    • ...and much, much more!
