Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a commercially focused and analytical professional to support the sales growth of the distilled spirits brands of Fifth Generation, Inc. This role is dedicated to advancing sales order solicitation development across all markets by partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to identify sales order solicitation opportunities, analyze performance trends, and drive revenue growth. This position is responsible for delivering data-driven insights for the development of product sales solicitation strategies, strengthening customer relations, and augmenting overall operational excellence through enhanced sales order performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth Management & Profit Maximization Through Increased Sales
  • Develop and present to team members and partners customized product pricing, product promotions, and discount proposals backed by financial modelling to grow sales orders by winning new business leading to an expansion in market share.
  • Analyze geographical data by channels of distribution, and customer data to pinpoint high-potential opportunities and craft tailored sales order solicitation techniques that maximize margin and volume.
  • Evaluate commercial initiatives using ROI, payback, and scenario analyses.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics to guide commercial sales order solicitation strategies.
Resource Management & Analysis
  • Obtain and analyze cost data from Corporate and other partners relative to sales order performance to determine the ROI on the utilization of resources.  Provide insights on budget vs. actual variances.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities, support cost‑saving projects and develop revised sales solicitation strategies as needed.
Ad Hoc In‑Depth Market Analysis
  • Deliver deep‑dive performance analyses across markets and categories to identify sales order solicitation priorities and to develop accurate forecasts.
  • Develop tools to support the deployment of resources towards the sales order solicitation function.
  • Partner with regional teams to develop localized, data‑led recommendations for the efficient use of resources to grow sales orders.
Performance Analysis to Assess Results of Sales Solicitation Strategies
  • Maintain accurate reporting of shipments, depletions.
  • Analyze performance vs. forecast, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support demand planning through run‑rate and pipeline insights.
  • Lead the annual sales planning process. as well as the monthly business performance rhythm.
Customer Relations
  • Engage corporate sales operations to address any customer concerns relative to all facets of product sales orders to maintain strong customer relationships and smooth order fulfillment.

RequirementsKey Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 6–8 years in commercial finance supporting sales order development, FP&A, or analytical roles (spirits/CPG a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; Power BI/Tableau preferred.
  • Ability to translate data into clear commercial insights.
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast‑moving environment.
