Summary:

This position is on the Fastpath Access Governance engineering team, where you will manage the team that designs, builds, and operates Delinea's application access governance product. Fastpath Access Governance helps customers manage segregation of duties risk, run user access reviews, automate compliant provisioning, and track changes across their business applications — so auditors and security teams can prove control over who has access to what.

As an engineering manager you will oversee a team of engineers responsible for core Fastpath Access Governance development using .NET, RESTful APIs, and background workers, as well as the deployment and operation of those services in Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure. You will also oversee a team of specialists responsible for key integrations with ERP and business applications including Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, and Salesforce. This role reports directly to the Engineering Director.

Delinea is an AI-first engineering organization. Our engineers use AI tools every day to write and review code, build tests, and work through design problems, and we expect our managers to work the same way. You'll be hands-on with AI tools yourself and push your teams to get more out of them.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage a sprint team of software engineers — both the people and the work they deliver.

• Manage a team of integration specialists building and maintaining connectors to customer ERP and business applications.

• Own the technical roadmap, delivery, quality, and operational health of the Fastpath Access Governance services.

• Lead the effort to bring Fastpath Access Governance capabilities to the Delinea Platform natively.

• Partner with PM, UX, and Architecture in a Scrum model to shape requirements, propose technical solutions, and drive architectural decisions.

• Drive adoption of AI coding assistants, design tools, and test automation across your teams, and set the bar for what good AI-assisted engineering looks like.

• Build a team culture where engineers feel safe doing their best work and can grow their careers.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience managing Agile engineering teams, with a strong track record of delivery and team development

• 5+ years of hands-on software development, with deep fluency in .NET/C# or comparable backend technologies

• Strong technical skills with experience making architecture decisions in distributed systems

• Experience building and operating cloud-native services on Azure or AWS at scale

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with engineers, product, and senior leadership

• Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar), AI design tools, and AI-based test automation in software development

We’d Love to See:

• Background in identity governance (IGA), access management, or security software — experience with segregation of duties, access certification, or audit and compliance workflows is a strong plus

• Hands-on experience building or integrating with ERP, HCM, or CRM systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Salesforce) — particularly their APIs and permission models

• Experience owning integrations with third-party systems at scale, where upstream APIs change and customer configurations vary

• Experience scaling engineering teams in a fast-growing SaaS or enterprise software environment

• Experience setting AI-first engineering practices at the team or org level: tooling standards, workflow integration, and measuring AI's impact on delivery outcomes

• Depth in .NET and cloud-native development on Kubernetes and Azure

• A track record of staying current with industry trends, security best practices, and emerging technologies in cloud-native platform development

For this Job, Delinea is not considering candidates that need any type of US work authorization now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to: F1-OPT, F1-CPT, H-1B, TN, L-1, J1, etc.
