Ready to be a Titan?

You will be a key member of the engineering leadership team at ServiceTitan, responsible for scaling our organization and delivering product excellence. We offer the chance to make an immediate impact in a rapidly growing company that remains quality-minded, uses the modern Microsoft .NET stack, and thrives on solving complex problems.

Over 100,000 users depend on our software to run their businesses. As an Engineering Manager within our Fintech R&D division, you will lead the team building the financial engine that powers the trades.

The Mission: Modernizing the Trades through Fintech

Our Fintech team is building a sophisticated, integrated financial suite directly into the ServiceTitan platform. We are simplifying how trades businesses handle money by automating the entire financial lifecycle. Your team will own products including:

  • Embedded Payments: Enabling seamless processing like Tap to Pay on mobile devices.

  • AI-Powered Accounts Payable: Automating invoice-to-PO workflows to eliminate manual back-office drag.

  • Integrated Financing: Providing real-time customer financing options to help contractors close bigger jobs.

  • Financial Visibility: Creating a unified system of record that gives contractors unprecedented control over their cash flow.

What You’ll Do
  • End-to-End Ownership: Lead the Fintech team’s projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring our financial tools are robust, secure, and scalable.

  • Mentor & Guide: Level up your engineers through consistent coaching, code reviews, and career development.

  • Technical Excellence: Drive major design decisions for high-availability financial systems and ensure the highest standards for code quality.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders to balance rapid iteration with the high-stakes precision required for financial data.

  • Build the Team: Partner with Recruiting to identify top talent, conduct interviews, and contribute to our technical brand through blog posts or tech talks.

What You’ll Need
  • Leadership Balance: You are a leader first, but remain "on the keyboard" ~10-20% of the time to support team velocity and technical health.

    • Note: There will be 2 live coding interviews as part of our process.

  • Management Experience: 1+ years leading small-to-medium software teams, ideally in an Agile environment.

  • Technical Depth: 8+ years in senior engineering roles with a focus on designing APIs, abstractions, and tools for high-scale environments.

  • Expert-Level Stack Knowledge:

    • Backend: Deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET stack (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API) and SQL Server.

    • Frontend: HTML5, JavaScript; experience with TypeScript and React is a significant plus.

    • Systems: Proficiency in Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring.

    • Architecture: Mastery of distributed architecture best practices—essential for handling secure, high-volume financial transactions.

  • Education: B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
