The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Manager of Solution Engineering to lead, coach, and inspire a team of Sales Engineers in your region, driving both technical excellence and business impact. In this role, you’ll partner closely with sales to support revenue growth while developing a high-performing team that translates complex solutions into clear customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Management & KPIs: Define, operationalize, and track key performance indicators, coaching your team to consistently meet and exceed targets
  • Team Leadership & Execution: Lead day-to-day operations of the Solution Engineering team, driving accountability, consistency, and high performance across all activities
  • Coaching & Development: Hire, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, career planning, and ongoing coaching
  • Enablement & Skill Development: Identify skill gaps and deliver targeted coaching across DoiT processes, technical expertise, and sales acumen
  • Revenue Ownership: Own regional performance, including pipeline contribution, deal progression, and quota attainment
  • Deal Support & Escalation: Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges and critical deal support, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering to represent customer needs, influence roadmap decisions, and improve solution alignment
  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of DoiT’s offerings and ensure your team can effectively position and differentiate our solutions
  • Team Engagement & Culture: Foster a strong, inclusive team culture by actively listening to feedback, resolving conflicts, and driving engagement
  • Sales Cycle Leadership & Execution: Oversee your team’s execution across the full sales cycle. Including discovery, demonstrations, stakeholder alignment, workshops, technical validation, and POVs, while reporting on quarterly performance and impact

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Solution Engineering leadership experience, or an equivalent space
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or other major public cloud platforms 
  • Experience with FinOps and Kubernetes - a strong advantage
  • Proven experience leading or managing high-performing technical or pre-sales teams
  • Strong understanding of performance metrics, with the ability to drive accountability and results
  • Demonstrated sense of ownership with a track record of delivering results and contributing to company success
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages such as Spanish are a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment, with a strong learning mindset and adaptability to change
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Embodies company values and contributes positively to team culture and engagement
