Job Description
As Manager Strategic Partnerships - you are a critical contributor to maintaining our overall continuity, goals, and growth within our Partner Channel. This includes financial consultants, referral partners, banks, and other financial technology platforms.
Your role is focused on driving growth through the constant development of both existing and new loan referral opportunities. You will achieve this through building a new pipeline of business and managing the onboarding of new strategic partnerships.
SmartBiz’s Partnership Channels have consistently delivered significant volume to our business, and are expected to continue on a trajectory of rapid growth.
As the Manager, Strategic Partnerships your core responsibilities are to:
- Ensure that the company’s loan application growth targets for the Partner Channel are met
- Drive strategic initiatives, projects, and processes in collaboration with the VP, Business Development
- Refine and own the business development pipeline and forecasting for new opportunities
- Develop relationships with new strategic partners and other growth opportunities
- Oversee and own all aspects of onboarding and training for new strategic partners
- Work closely with leaders from Partner Success, Sales, and Lending Operations to better enhance and grow the Partner Channel
- Own the continuity and quality of engagement between Strategic Partners and all SmartBiz Staff
