Hands-on Treasury Manager overseeing daily cash positioning, bank account administration, vendor disbursements, and cash forecasting across multiple entities. Lead a team, consolidate treasury functions for acquisitions and subsidiaries, improve processes, and perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Manager of Treasury responsible for managing and optimizing the company's daily cash position, mitigating financial risks, and contributing to strategic financial decisions. This is a hands-on role that will oversee 3+ direct reports, and reports to the Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash positioning and manage short-term liquidity to ensure the organization meets its operational needs. This includes managing daily cash transactions, concentrating funds, and ensuring efficient cash utilization.
- Administer bank accounts (opening, closing, maintenance, user set up and entitlements), manage banking platforms, execute wire transfers and other payments, and help maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
- Responsible for ensuring all U.S. vendor disbursements are timely and accurately paid and recorded in GL.
- Treasury team is responsible for recording all cash transactions for multiple legal entities in multiple countries into the general ledger on a timely basis.
- Drive the short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting process, collecting data from various subsidiaries to provide consolidated company-wide cash projections
- Manage further consolidation of the Treasury function amongst newly acquired companies and foreign subsidiaries
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the treasury team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement while ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and procedures
- Participate in and lead special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of progressive experience in cash management, treasury, banking or related financial analysis roles, including 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience working with multinational organizations and various currencies
- Proficiency with large ERP systems is essential; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.
- Strong computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to efficiently manage workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
