Job Description


Our law firm seeks a Managing Attorney for its high-volume foreclosure practice. This position requires client contact and a high-volume workload. License to practice law in Louisiana required.


Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the firm’s foreclosure and litigation departments.
  • Work with and assist in supervision of paralegals and support staff. Maintain the highest quality of work-product while helping clients achieve their goals and ensure firm policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Monitor progress and develop strategies to effectively bring files to resolution.
  • Develop and grow client relations.


Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of law and extensive experience related to creditors’ rights legal representation (real estate, foreclosure, litigation)
  • Working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application to foreclosure matters
  • Knowledge of Federal and State consumer protection statutes
  • Louisiana barred for 8+ years
  • 8+ years’ experience in Creditors’ Rights


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Exercise a high-degree of professionalism
  • Creative problem solving; client development; leadership and motivational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and through written and electronic correspondence


Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the Louisiana Bar
