The expected pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Makse Group is looking for a Managing Consultant to join our Workday Financials Practice. This role requires 4+ years of hands-on Workday Financials implementation experience. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional expertise across Workday Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management, along with the ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions that align technology with business goals.

As a Managing Consultant, you will oversee complex client engagements, serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and drive the successful delivery of Workday Financials implementations. You will also mentor and guide consultants, contribute to best practices, and support business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client Workday Financial Management workstreams, ensuring best practices are applied across Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management.

  • Oversee project lifecycles, including scope, timelines, and deliverables, while managing risks and ensuring successful outcomes.

  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to align Workday solutions with strategic business objectives and financial processes.

  • Design, configure, and deliver scalable Workday solutions, including business processes, reporting, dashboards, and calculated fields.

  • Support data conversion, integrations, and testing activities across complex client environments.

  • Mentor and develop junior and senior consultants, fostering delivery excellence and knowledge sharing.

  • Identify enhancement opportunities with new Workday releases and ensure adoption of innovative features.

  • Contribute to business development through client presentations, proposal support, and relationship management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on Workday Financials implementation experience across Core Financials, Procurement, and Expense Management.

  • Proven success managing large-scale Workday Financials implementations with multiple clients.

  • Strong project workstream experience, with the ability to manage deliverables and timelines effectively.

  • Advanced report writing skills with experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules, and calculated fields.

  • Solid understanding of financial systems, processes, and end-to-end business cycles (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Customer-to-Cash, etc.).

  • Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and tenant configuration practices.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently, including short-duration projects.

  • Workday Certification or Workday PRO certification highly desirable.

  • Adaptive Insights experience is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
