Job Description:

Market Strategy & Product Management

  • Build market size, share, and competitive models to inform strategic direction. Responsible for leading the creation of the District Strategy 
  • Develop the product roadmap and Go to Market strategies, including Right to Win positioning.
  • Lead strategy for SCS, small package, healthcare and premium segments to accelerate long term share and revenue growth.
  • Communicate, document, and refine marketing strategy while tracking KPIs that measure progress toward long term objectives.
  •  Drive cross functional priorities including end to end initiatives, healthcare synergies, premium revenue growth and churn reduction.
  • Lead engagement with ASC partners 
  • Business Planning & Reporting 
  •  Lead annual business and marketing planning to define volume and revenue targets.
  • Coordinate goal setting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with regional and corporate teams to connect annual plans with long term (5 year) strategies.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports to track progress against plan.
  • Revenue Management & Pricing
  • Responsible for ONE UPS pricing alignment, including ownership of SP, SCS and Cargo
  • Establish incentive pricing policies across geographies and trade lanes.
  • Deploy revenue management tools and systems across global teams.
  • Lead customer and product profitability strategies; collaborate to influence results.
  • Own published rate strategy and guide all supply and demand-based pricing decisions.
  • Digital & SMB Growth – Customer Communications
  • Shape the strategic direction for the small business segment.
  • Drive digital growth initiatives and develop digital capability roadmaps.
  • Manage multi-channel customer communications across
  • Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead people processes including staffing, performance management, succession planning, and development.
  • Identify team and individual skill gaps and create development plans.
  • Ensure all direct and indirect reports have documented career goals with actionable development plans.
  • Conduct consistent and objective performance evaluations, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Address performance issues promptly and foster a collaborative, high performance culture.
  • Create opportunities for stretch assignments, skill expansion, and career progression; make strategic decisions regarding promotions and lateral moves.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years in UPS Marketing or an international business unit (or equivalent experience).
  • Marketing experience spanning at least two disciplines.
  • Proven ability to lead across complex, multi geographic, cross functional environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose business challenges and deliver insights to senior leadership.
  •  Strong understanding of UPS pricing and cost models.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Spanish and English speaking required
