This is a remote position.

Our client is looking for a Marketing Assistant. They operate in the consulting and professional services space, recognized in recent years for expanding their digital capabilities and strengthening the way they support clients through automation, content, and targeted outreach strategies. This role will help enhance their marketing operations by supporting daily execution across email, social media, automation tools, and lead research.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, reliable, tech savvy, and able to manage recurring processes with accuracy while identifying opportunities to streamline or improve workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor posts across social media platforms, ensuring content aligns with the company’s tone and messaging.

  • Assist with building basic content outlines for blogs or thought-leadership pieces when needed.

  • Manage email campaigns inside Mailchimp, including list updates, segmentation, scheduling, and performance checks.

  • Build, maintain, and test Zapier automations to support marketing operations and internal workflows.

  • Research and compile lead lists from online sources such as company directories, school databases, or industry listings.

  • Organize and maintain spreadsheets and documents related to marketing, lead generation, and campaign performance.

  • Provide general support for special projects, including LMS setup (Circle), simple graphic creation in Canva, or campaign preparation.

  • Communicate progress consistently and proactively flag issues or missing information.



Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Zapier workflows.

  • Proficiency using Mailchimp for campaign setup, list management, and basic analytics.

  • Experience posting, managing, and planning content for social media channels.

  • Ability to conduct online research and compile accurate lead information.

  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to follow structured processes.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in marketing support, virtual assistance, or administrative roles involving automation tools.

  • Ability to think critically, troubleshoot small issues, and improve workflows.

  • Comfortable working with Google Workspace and task management tools.

  • Interest in content development, light design (Canva), or LMS setup is a plus.
