We are looking for a proactive, organized, and results-driven Marketing & Business Development Assistant to support the growth of GOA-TECH, MyVA Support, and Reach Voters.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing marketing-generated leads from initial contact through qualification, appointment scheduling, and ongoing follow-up. You'll play a key role in ensuring every opportunity is properly nurtured, documented, and moved through the sales pipeline.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining sales, business development, relationship building, and CRM management in a fast-paced environment.
- Respond promptly to inbound marketing-generated leads.
- Qualify prospects through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Schedule discovery calls between qualified prospects and leadership.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with active leads until they are closed or disqualified.
- Manage and update CRM records with complete and accurate information.
- Track sales opportunities throughout the pipeline.
- Document meeting notes, conversations, and next steps.
- Follow up on proposals and maintain communication with prospects.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Leadership teams.
- Participate in pipeline review meetings and contribute ideas for improving lead conversion.
- Ensure no qualified opportunities are lost due to lack of follow-up.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting, or Customer Success.
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 preferred).
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with CRM platforms (Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting virtual meetings.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Experience working with B2B clients.
- Experience selling professional services or IT services.
- Previous experience in marketing-to-sales lead management.
- Familiarity with sales pipelines and conversion metrics.
