Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator, Promotions will be the day-to-day driver of Terrabis's promotional and discount ecosystem, managing the execution of the promotion calendar, campaign logistics, vendor communications, and store-facing support for discount builds, giveaways, and incentives, working closely with the Marketing Manager: Ecommerce & Promotions to keep every market's promotions running smoothly and on time.

Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Logistics

  • Implement and maintain the promotion calendar, including doorbuster schedules, ensuring all stakeholders receive timely briefs and milestones are tracked.
  • Field and respond to ad hoc discount requests from stores and vendors.
  • Build out campaign FAQs to support store teams and customer-facing questions.
  • Conduct daily promo audits to catch pricing or listing errors before they reach customers.

Ecommerce & Inventory Support

  • Own Dutchie/Jane menu content and discount builds tied to active promotions.
  • Manage ecommerce product listings for accessories.
  • Manage aging inventory in coordination with the broader team.
  • Serve as a store-facing intake point for menu update requests and promotion questions, and support store teams with Jane ecommerce menu fixes (discount bugs, product listing updates, etc.).

Vendor & Partner Liaison

  • Maintain a vendor contact database and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
  • Coordinate promo-related vendor communications, including pop-up scheduling.
  • Lead customer giveaway program buildout end-to-end: vendor negotiations and agreements, giveaway builds on SweepWidget, FAQ development, and store communications ahead of launch.
  • Schedule staff incentives with vendors and maintain ongoing sales reporting to track incentive performance.

Administrative & Ad Hoc Support

  • Draft presentation decks, slide updates, and one-pagers for manager reviews.
  • Organize team meetings, take notes, and track action items to completion.

 

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Business, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of cannabis-adjacent experience, such as budtender, inventory management, cannabis retail or MIP, or cannabis sales; prior formal marketing experience is not required.

Technical Skills

  • Dutchie and/or Jane platform experience.
  • SweepWidget experience a plus.
  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Teams
  • Familiar with Claude or ChatGPT AI Platforms
  • Familiarity with POS or inventory systems, including cost, retail, and sale pricing.
  • Project management tool experience a plus (Asana or similar).

Soft Skills

  • Highly detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating and negotiating with vendors via email and phone.
  • Proactive problem-solver who escalates issues appropriately.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working across teams and vendors.
