Remote 3-month marketing internship (18–25 hrs/week) supporting digital marketing activities: social media management and engagement, CRM updates, email campaigns, SEO improvement, analytics monitoring, market research, promotional activities, and aligning marketing strategies with sales goals while maintaining the company’s online reputation.
This is a remote position.
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our company and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our team and have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies. Interns will have access to the company's social media accounts and will be responsible for engaging with the audience through different platforms. This position will be for about 3 months with a minimum requirement of 18-25 work hours per week. After this period, interns will have the opportunity to apply and fill in for our lead Marketing position. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment.
Job Description:
- Manage and coordinate all digital marketing activities
- Support the goals set in the marketing plan
- Work close with the sales team
- Translate the company’s objectives into marketing strategies
- Improve search engine rankings
- Share qualitative content on different social media channels
- Monitor and improve (if needed) company’s online reputation
- Create, send and answer email campaigns
Help distribute marketing materials.
-Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).
-Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web).
-Perform market analysis and research on competition.
-Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.
-Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords).
-Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
-Solid understanding of different marketing techniques.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
RequirementsRequirements
At least 1+ years’ experience in social media/marketing.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of the social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Google+.
• Clear understanding of the functionality of social media analytics which includes Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
