The Marketing Operations Manager will optimize the MarTech stack, analyze marketing performance, and leverage AI to enhance workflows, supporting effective decision-making across marketing and sales.
At Brightspot®, we believe technology should enable content-focused teams to work smarter, faster, and more seamlessly to move businesses forward. Our world-class delivery team has decades of collective experience supporting digital transformation efforts for some of the world’s most well-known companies – from eCommerce brands and media organizations to corporate businesses. Brightspot prides itself on being a leading content management system built to grow and adapt to any business.
Brightspot is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to own and evolve the systems, data, and processes that power our marketing engine.
This role sits at the center of how Marketing performance is measured, analyzed, and communicated across the organization. You will manage and optimize our MarTech stack, translate complex data into clear insights, and build the operational infrastructure that enables Marketing and Sales to operate more effectively.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership. The right candidate is not simply a reporting operator, but a proactive systems thinker who identifies trends, surfaces insights, and helps the organization make smarter decisions about how we generate and convert pipeline.
You will also play an important role in helping Brightspot leverage AI across our revenue ecosystem — identifying opportunities to automate workflows, improve targeting and segmentation, and measure the impact of emerging AI-driven tools.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning a full stack, solving complex operational challenges, and building systems that scale.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize our MarTech stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, GA4, and other core marketing systems
- Serve as the backbone of marketing performance measurement by delivering reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership
- Analyze pipeline, funnel performance, and marketing attribution across complex B2B sales cycles
- Build and automate scalable workflows that improve efficiency across Marketing and Sales operations
- Leverage automation and AI to enhance lead routing, data enrichment, segmentation, and campaign execution
- Maintain data integrity across systems, managing integrations to ensure a reliable single source of truth while supporting global compliance (GDPR/CCPA)
- Lead experimentation with AI-driven tools and frameworks, including measuring LLM performance, output quality, and attribution
- Partner closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to ensure data and insights directly support pipeline and revenue growth
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Marketing Operations experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology company, owning a full MarTech stack and operating independently in a fast-paced environment
- Deep hands-on experience managing marketing automation and CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot and Salesforce
- Experience working with modern MarTech ecosystems, including tools like 6sense, GA4, and similar platforms
- Strong analytical background with experience building dashboards and reporting frameworks
- Experience translating data into actionable insights that influence marketing and revenue strategy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly present insights to cross-functional teams and leadership
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for applying AI tools to marketing workflows and analytics; experience evaluating or implementing AI or LLM-based marketing tools is a plus
- Experience working with long, complex B2B sales cycles, and high-growth companies where ownership and initiative are critical
Compensation Expectations
- The starting salary range for this role is $145,000 with bonus potential.
- Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid company holidays, Safe Harbor 401(k) with employer matching, continuing education stipend, and a 3-week paid sabbatical after your 5th anniversary
At Brightspot®, we value diversity and strive to create an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.
