About Telnyx

Telnyx is an industry leader that's not just imagining the future of global connectivity—we're building it. From architecting and amplifying the reach of a private, global, multi-cloud IP network, to bringing hyperlocal edge technology right to your fingertips through intuitive APIs, we're shaping a new era of seamless interconnection between people, devices, and applications.

We're driven by a desire to transform and modernize what's antiquated, automate the manual, and solve real-world problems through innovative connectivity solutions. As a testament to our success, we're proud to stand as a financially stable and profitable company. Our robust profitability allows us not only to invest in pioneering technologies but also to foster an environment of continuous learning and growth for our team.

Our collective vision is a world where borderless connectivity fuels limitless innovation. By joining us, you can be part of laying the foundations for this interconnected future. We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers.

The Role

Telnyx is seeking a Growth Marketing Engineer to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be the technical architect behind our Demand Generation engine, building intelligent systems that automate campaign management, creative generation, and performance optimization.

We are building an AI-powered "Operating System" for our go-to-market operations—a system where intelligent agents work alongside our marketing team to scale our reach. You will report to our GTM Systems Architect and work directly with our Demand Generation leadership to translate complex marketing strategies into autonomous code-based workflows.

This is not a traditional marketing operations role. You won't just be managing tools; you will be building the software that runs them. Think of it as building the "self-driving" layer for our marketing stack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Autonomous Marketing Agents: Design and deploy Python-based agents that automate complex workflows across Google Ads, LinkedIn, StackAdapt, and Reddit.
  • Automate Creative Production: Leverage LLMs (GPT-4, Claude) and design APIs to build systems that generate high-converting ad copy and visual assets at scale.
  • Integrate Ad Platforms: Build robust API integrations between our ad platforms and our data warehouse to enable real-time performance visibility and automated bid management.
  • Orchestrate Data Pipelines: Work with our Data Engineering team to ensure attribution data flows seamlessly from ad clicks to closed revenue, enabling true ROAS-based optimization.
  • Scale Campaign Operations: Transform manual campaign setup processes into one-click automated deployments, allowing our Demand Gen team to manage 80+ simultaneous campaigns efficiently.
  • Continuous Optimization: Develop algorithmic logic to monitor campaign performance and automatically adjust budgets or pause underperforming creatives based on defined rules.
What we are looking for:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in growth engineering, marketing automation, or software development with a focus on marketing technologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Node.js. Experience building and consuming REST APIs is required.
  • Ad Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with marketing APIs (Google Ads, LinkedIn Marketing API, Meta Ads, etc.) is highly valued.
  • AI & LLM Integration: Practical experience building tools with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs. You understand how to prompt, chain, and integrate models into production workflows.
  • Marketing Fluency: You understand the fundamentals of marketing— CPL, CAC, CAC Payback ROAS, NPS, attribution, and funnel metrics—and can speak the language of marketers.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable working with SQL and data warehouses (Postgres, Snowflake) to query performance data and build logic based on metrics.
  • Problem Solver: You see manual repetitive tasks as bugs to be fixed. You have a track record of automating complex processes to save time and improve accuracy.
Tools & Technologies:
  • Languages: Python, SQL, Node.js, HTML, CSS (bonus if also proficient in React + Liquid)
  • AI/LLM: OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangChain/AutoGen (plus)
  • Ad Tech: Google Ads API, LinkedIn API, Reddit API, StackAdapt, HockeyStack
  • Data: PostgreSQL, Segment, dbt
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions, Zapier, n8n
