Please note, this posting is to highlight joining Right Side Up's talent collective specifically and is not representing an internal full-time role, or a current opportunity with a client.

Right Side Up is a collective of premium marketing talent—with all of the marketing chops, and none of the agency fluff. We're trusted by the most respected early-stage ventures, the fastest-growing tech companies, and well-established Fortune 500 teams to do one thing better: Growth. We have over 1400+ clients including Reddit, Robinhood, Lyft, Gusto, Stripe, Rippling, Shopify, Noom, Hinge Health, Kikoff, and more.

About The Role

We're building our bench of Marketing Technology & Mobile Measurement leads — senior, hands-on operators who own the platforms and infrastructure that make mobile acquisition measurement possible. This person sits at the intersection of marketing, media, data engineering, product/app engineering, privacy, and analytics, administering mobile measurement partner (MMP) platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, or Kochava, alongside adjacent martech systems like GA4, Firebase, and Google Tag Manager. They own tools, configuration, QA, and technical requirements — they don't need to be the production data engineer building every pipeline, but they do need to be able to speak that language fluently.

The strongest fit has direct, hands-on MMP ownership (not just reporting exposure), a mobile-first acquisition background, and enough technical range to partner credibly with engineering on data flows, while also understanding how paid media teams use that data to make spend decisions. These are typically fractional engagements requiring 30–40 hours per week with meaningful business-hours overlap.

Responsibilities

    • Own day-to-day administration of a mobile measurement partner (MMP) platform such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, or Kochava, including event mapping, attribution windows, SKAdNetwork/ATT configuration, postbacks, cost and reporting API integrations, and fraud monitoring.

    • Lead MMP vendor evaluations, migrations, and implementations, including technical requirements, SDK versus server-to-server decisions, and rollout sequencing.

    • Partner with engineering and data teams to scope and validate data flows across APIs, ETL pipelines, BigQuery, rollup tables, and audience imports.

    • Maintain clean, reliable tracking across GA4, Firebase, Google Tag Manager, deep links, QR codes, and campaign taxonomy.

    • Own marketing-side requirements for privacy-safe measurement, including ATT and related consent frameworks, in partnership with privacy and engineering stakeholders.

    • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and connect configuration decisions to how paid media and growth teams optimize spend, including CPI, CPA, ROAS, and LTV.

    • Identify and implement automation opportunities across reporting, QA, audience activation, and campaign operations.

    • Act as the technical translator between marketing, media, data engineering, product/app engineering, and analytics stakeholders.

Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in marketing technology, growth infrastructure, or mobile measurement/attribution roles, ideally at the Senior Manager to Director level.

    • Direct, hands-on ownership or administration of at least one MMP platform (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, or Kochava) — not just experience consuming MMP reporting.

    • Mobile-first acquisition experience across iOS and Android, ideally within consumer fintech, mobility, marketplace, gaming, subscription, or large-scale consumer media/social apps.

    • Practical, first-person experience with event mapping, attribution setup and windows, SKAdNetwork/ATT, postbacks, cost and reporting APIs, deep links, QR codes, and fraud monitoring.

    • Comfort partnering with engineering and data teams on APIs, ETL, BigQuery, rollup tables, and audience imports; SQL fluency is strongly preferred.

    • Working knowledge of paid media optimization and how channel owners use CPI, CPA, ROAS, and LTV data to make spend decisions.

    • Experience in either early-stage/startup environments or large, complex enterprise organizations — depth in both is a plus, but not a requirement.

    • Availability of 30–40 hours per week with meaningful business-hours overlap, and comfort with an open-ended fractional engagement.

Tools & Platforms

    • AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, Kochava

    • Google Analytics 4, Firebase, Google Tag Manager

    • SKAdNetwork and ATT frameworks

    • BigQuery and SQL

    • Google Marketing Platform (CM360, DV360, SA360)

    • Reverse-ETL/data activation tools such as Hightouch
