Position Summary
The MarTech Adoption Lead – Adobe Experience Platform (CMO Advisory) is a senior consulting role responsible for helping CMOs realize measurable business value from their Adobe MarTech investments. Acting as a trusted advisor, this role engages deeply with marketing leaders and end users to identify adoption barriers, unlock high-value use cases, and translate insights into prioritized roadmaps across Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA).
This role bridges strategy and execution—thinking like a marketer, operating like a product leader, and partnering with Adobe, client product teams, and engineering to ensure capabilities ship, land, and scale across markets and channels.
Key Responsibilities
CMO Advisory & Client Engagement
  • Serve as a trusted MarTech advisor to CMOs and senior marketing leaders across multiple client engagements.
  • Lead executive discovery sessions to align business goals with AEP-powered use cases and value hypotheses.
  • Translate client objectives into C-suite-ready roadmaps, investment cases, and sequencing recommendations.
User & SME Discovery (Adobe-Focused)
  • Conduct structured interviews, ride-alongs, and workflow reviews with marketers, analysts, and channel teams using Adobe tools.
  • Identify friction points across identity, data ingestion, profile enablement, segmentation, journey orchestration, and activation.
  • Synthesize insights into problem statements and requirements aligned to AEP, RTCDP, AJO, and CJA capabilities.
Adoption Strategy & Enablement
  • Design and execute adoption strategies at the use-case level (audiences, journeys, channels, personalization, experimentation).
  • Stand up champions programs, training, enablement materials, and change-management communications.
  • Define and track adoption KPIs including activation, feature usage, time-to-value, and campaign velocity.
Product & Platform Partnership
  • Translate real-world user inputs into actionable backlog items, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Adobe implementations.
  • Partner with client Product Owners, Engineering teams, and Adobe SMEs to co-own sprint goals and delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure Adobe features and enhancements are implemented with measurable business impact, not just technical completion.
Marketing Impact, Analytics & Experimentation
  • Build hypotheses and experimentation roadmaps using Adobe Journey Optimizer and downstream channel tools.
  • Quantify uplift across conversion, engagement, retention, LTV, and cost-to-serve using Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Institutionalize attribution, incrementality testing, and MMM/MTA practices across client organizations.
Executive Reporting & Value Realization
  • Develop concise executive dashboards and narratives that communicate adoption health, value realized, risks, and next bets.
  • Support CMO and ELT decision-making on funding, resourcing, and platform maturity evolution.
  • Demonstrate ROI from Adobe investments across short-term wins and long-term transformation initiatives.
Operating Model & Governance
  • Establish adoption governance models, OKRs, and scorecards across regions and business units.
  • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly client cadences to review progress, unblock issues, and scale best practices.
  • Drive repeatable consulting playbooks that can be scaled across clients and industries.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in MarTech, Digital Marketing, Product Management, or Marketing Operations, with a strong consulting background.
  • Proven expertise in the Adobe Experience Platform ecosystem, including:
    • Adobe Experience Platform (schemas, datasets, identities, profiles)
    • Real-Time CDP
    • Adobe Journey Optimizer
    • Customer Journey Analytics
  • Demonstrated success driving adoption and value realization, not just platform implementation.
  • Strong ability to translate marketer workflows and pain points into structured product and executive requirements.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery teams and enterprise clients.
  • Excellent executive presence, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adobe certifications (AEP, RTCDP, AJO, CJA).
  • Prior experience at a digital consulting firm, systems integrator, or Adobe partner.
  • Experience supporting global, multi-market enterprise clients.
  • Strong understanding of identity resolution, personalization, experimentation, and marketing measurement
