Niyam is seeking an experienced Maximo Senior Technical Consultant to lead the configuration, implementation, and optimization of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional and technical knowledge of Maximo, work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable configurations, and support enterprise asset management initiatives across maintenance, operations, inventory, procurement, and work management. The Senior Configurator will serve as a subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert for IBM Maximo, including system architecture, configuration, integration, customization, data migration, deployment and O&M.
- Support the development of interfaces to external systems.
- Design and configure business processes, workflows, escalations, and automation scripts.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Maximo configuration solutions.
- Configure applications, screens, start centers, KPIs, queries, and dashboards to meet operational needs.
- Support data migration, validation, and system integration activities.
- Collaborate with technical developers on integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) and REST APIs.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Support upgrades, patches, and deployment activities.
- Participate in solution architecture design.
- Develop configuration documentation, technical designs, and user guides.
- Mentor junior configurators and provide technical leadership to project teams.
- Recommend continuous improvements, industry best practices for Enterprise Asset Management processes, and innovation.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IBM Maximo implementation and configuration experience.
- Strong experience configuring Maximo 7.6.x and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- Must be able to convert functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience with: Java, WebSphere, XML, PL SQL, Maximo automation scripts, BIRT.
- Working knowledge of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), integrations, APIs (REST/JSON).
- Experience supporting full software implementation lifecycles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience working on federal contracts.
- IBM Maximo certifications.
- Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Experience leading configuration workstreams or functional teams.
- Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with IBM WebSphere, Linux, and enterprise middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence, or other tools.
