We are looking for an experienced MCAD (Mechanical CAD) Solutions Consultant, who will play a key role in leading successful customer deployments of CAD to PLM solutions. This role will primarily work on implementing XPLM products and processes as well as customer specific use-cases. The MCAD Solution Consultant works independently and directly with other consultants to provide quality MCAD to PLM integration workshops and implementation services. Demonstration of technical leadership, team management, organizational skills, and the ability to negotiate with key customer stakeholders are essential in ensuring success.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead a technical implementation team in all aspects of solution deployment
- Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, build consensus across all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned to business value
- Lead as well as support the development of requirements specifications, Use Cases, and functional specifications
- Perform solution analysis and develop customer-facing proposals and contribute to the development of proposals / statements of work
- Transform customer requirements to technical solutions through a thorough understanding of the XPLM suite of tools
- Lead or participate in the delivery of Proof-of-Concept engagements at key prospects
- Provide input to the professional services team regarding methodology and tools
- Provide coaching and mentoring to other team members as necessary
- Work with project members and review the team’s work products to ensure that they are accurate and consistent
- Work with onsite and offshore technical team members
Skills
- Professionally interact and communicate with customers and internal team members
- Clearly demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Have a thorough understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW, Specification documents, and Use Cases.
- Technically self-sufficient with data modeling techniques, SQL Server and Microsoft Office products.
- Should be proficient with web programming languages such as: Javascript, HTML, XML
- Proven project management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery
- Strong planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Ability to support multiple projects concurrently as required
- Must have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal individuals and external customers. Must be an effective communicator in difficult customer situations
Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3-7 years of relevant CAD experience (with tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, Inventor, etc)
- Proven track record as a team member for enterprise CAD deployments
- Knowledge and experience with any PLM system (especially with CAD integration)
- Demonstrated experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Industry knowledge of any of the following: Engineering Change processes, Phase Gate Project Management, Quality systems processes, DFMEA, PFMEA, CAPA, Manufacturing Process Planning, BOM Management
- Must be able to travel as required

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected base salary range will be between $90,000-$120,000. This position is also bonus eligible.
