Job Summary:
As a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer/ Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the systems that bring buildings to life. From high-rise hotels and dynamic retail spaces, educational facilities to multi-story residential apartments to you’ll design mechanical HVAC solutions, using Revit, to transform bold ideas into impactful, real-world solutions.

General Duties:

  • Design Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning Systems for various types of facilities
  • Produce mechanical design drawings in Revit and AutoCAD 
  • Perform field investigations
  • Coordinate quality control, scheduling, and programming
  • Coordinate and communicate information and progress with all three disciplines (mechanical, electrical and plumbing
  • Provide construction administration services

Skills:

  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office 
  • Solid understanding of duct design, piping design, air handlers, chiller, and boiler systems
  • Experience performing load calculations, equipment selection and design, wet and dry side system design
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of CBC, CMC and CPC codes, DDC controls, Title 24, HAP or Energy Pro

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years commercial mechanical HVAC system design experience using Revit
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus
  • PE/EIT AND LEED certification/ experience a plus

Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid
Travel: 5%
