Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

In this position, you will utilize your expertise to assist in training the next generation of AI systems. Your contributions will influence how models acquire knowledge, reason, and operate by providing high-quality, real-world data. No previous AI experience is necessary—your domain expertise is what counts.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Review technical documents and identify essential information within your area of expertise

• Develop, assess, and enhance questions and solutions based on practical mechanical engineering situations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the precision and comprehensiveness of data and analyses

• Provide comprehensive written and oral feedback regarding document clarity, technical correctness, and overall effectiveness

• Utilize advanced subject matter expertise to assess and resolve complex engineering challenges

• Operate independently, effectively managing your time to produce high-quality results with limited supervision

• Participate in ongoing efforts to improve data quality and project workflows

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of professional or academic experience in mechanical engineering or a related discipline (whether in a lab, industrial setting, or academia)

• Strong ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret technical documents

• Excellent command of English communication skills, both written and spoken

• Proven track record of creating or evaluating technical content such as reports, research papers, or problem sets

• Capable of working independently and efficiently, demonstrating excellent self-management skills

• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong dedication to data accuracy

• Experience engaging with technical documentation and performing analytical activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology

• Prior experience contributing to interdisciplinary or research-focused projects

• Knowledge of data-driven analysis or experience in preparing training datasets
