Job Description

This position will maintain company IT infrastructure, support end users, and assist with MES and manufacturing-related systems. At this stage, strong IT operation and support capabilities are more important than advanced software development skills. The selected candidate will help establish clear IT roles and responsibilities and coordinate with the Korean HQ IT/development team for system development or advanced technical support.

  • Manage and support company PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, peripheral devices, and user IT equipment.
  • Support basic server, network, Wi-Fi, backup, security, user account setup, email, access control, software installation, and IT onboarding/offboarding.
  • Maintain IT asset records and coordinate with external IT vendors when needed.
  • Provide first-level support for MES and manufacturing system users.
  • Understand manufacturing process flows and communicate effectively with production, quality, engineering, and management teams.
  • Support MES issue tracking, user requests, data flow review, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with HQ IT/development teams regarding system improvements, bug fixes, testing, and implementation.
  • Assist in documenting IT procedures, system workflows, process flowcharts, and user guidelines.
  • Support basic database-related tasks, including understanding tables, queries, data structure, and DDL/DML concepts.

Qualifications

  • Experience in IT infrastructure support, helpdesk, system administration, or a similar IT operations role.
  • Basic understanding of PCs, networks, servers, printers, software, and user support.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing system processes, especially MES, ERP, or production-related systems.
  • Basic knowledge of DBMS concepts such as tables, queries, DDL/DML, and data flow.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work with internal teams, external vendors, and HQ IT/development teams.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and grow into a broader manufacturing IT role.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MES, ERP, production management, or quality management systems.
  • Basic SQL knowledge or experience reviewing database information.
  • Experience creating flowcharts, process documentation, or user manuals.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and Korean are a plus.
