Position Summary

In your role as a MFG Operations Engineer, you'll work with a talented team to help start up one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in US. This pivotal role serves as the internal command center that drives successful real-time operations & shipments by identifying critical paths for production, anticipating gaps, & driving results through cross team collaboration. Your role will help drive efficiency & sustainability to create or refine workflows, ensuring successful operations that adapt to changes in the evolving semiconductor industry.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Maintain multiple tasks during start up that include, but not limited to: process set up, line qualification and management, bottleneck management, and product delivery. 

  • Work with engineering, shift ‑operations, and quality teams to identify tactical issues, resolve critical incidents, & author, implement, and maintain SOPs for each ownership domain.

  • Conduct inventory analysis and look for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

  • Partner with systems technology and engineering teams to design & demonstrate the improvements to enhance current scheduling & productivity systems.

  • Effectively communicate at all levels to champion lean‑manufacturing initiatives that enhance factory efficiency.

  • Develop & deploy new tools than refine existing processes & lead training to ensure seamless integration into standard workflows.

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to arrive at insightful solutions that improve operational inefficiencies in the manufacturing line- Support the development and implementation of performance metrics and KPIs and communicate out progress in achieving those goals.

  • Other General Expectations:

    • Must be able to find structure in a disarrayed environment and exhibit a high competency in prioritization of tasks- Efficiently see through key project completions (end to end) through management of timelines, deliverables and stakeholders by promptly and accurately communicating needs.

    • Be flexible to unlearn and then relearn processes with changing needs of the organization.

    • Be a quick learner, highly analytical in thinking and a problem solver.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering & Applied Mathematics.

  • 4+ years’ experience in lean manufacturing, six sigma, factory operations, capacity planning, or project management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

  • Skill in MS Office suite, Knowledge of operational metrics like OEE, equipment efficiency, Takt Time, etc.- Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) or other similar project tracking software- Experience or knowledge of scripting in Python or similar languages is a plus.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
