The Microsoft Support Administrator is a valued member of the Coretek NOC team responsible for providing 24x7 Level 2 support for client environments. Coretek is seeking a Microsoft Support Administrator to manage and support our clients’ Microsoft-based infrastructure. We are excited to add a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and a high level of determination to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support to end-users, managing Azure & Microsoft 365 support services, assisting with Entra ID administration and working closely with Coretek and Microsoft engineers on more complex application issues.  


Requirements

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support for Microsoft products including Microsoft Azure, Windows, Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and Power BI.  
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 user accounts, licenses and groups 
  • Manage and support Microsoft Exchange Online, including email flow and mailboxes 
  • Perform Active Directory administration and troubleshooting such as group policy management  
  • Respond to support tickets and resolve issues related to Microsoft and Azure environments in a timely fashion to minimize downtime 
  • Assist in backup, recovery, and security best practices using Microsoft tools 
  • Escalate and collaborate with Coretek engineers and Microsoft to resolve complex technical issues 
  • Track the progress of client incidents and requests during the entire lifecycle to ensure the issues are closed within the agreed Operation Level Agreement 
  • Communicate, internally and externally, the status of the tickets directly with clients 
  • Create and maintain IT knowledgebase articles 
  • Assist with cross training of other NOC support team members as needed 

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, preferred or  

experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) in a medium-to-large data center environment supporting multiple clients and systems 

2+ years of Microsoft Administration experience 

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin center, Exchange online, and Teams 
  • Required Certifications: 
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate 
  • Azure Fundamentals: AZ-900 
  • Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Groups Policy and DNS/DHCP 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager / Intune is a plus 
  • Knowledge of MFA and Conditional Access support technologies 
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is preferred 
  • Familiarity with remote support and event management tools and IT ticket systems – ServiceNow preferred 
  • Strong listening, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when monitoring and maintaining systems 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment 
  • Adept at communicating with all levels of technical experience 
  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task effectively  
  • English proficiency
