About the role

As our Mid-Market Account Executive, you'll set the stage for how legal teams of the future work. Your impact will be direct and measurable. The best part? The product sells easily because it's exceptionally good legal AI. We have clear, deep product market fit as customers want our product.

We currently have more inbound leads than our CEO can handle so we need an AE who is exceptionally organized, can qualify prospects, schedule demos, manage trials, get through security questionnaires and procurement, and can close deals in record time. When you do this job right, you'll drive the adoption of AI in legal teams globally.

What you'll do
  • Assess and prioritize inbound leads to determine their potential to become customers

  • Respond quickly to qualified leads to book meetings with them

  • Initiate the discovery process over email to prepare for meetings

  • Prepare a summary ahead of each meeting to ensure it is as productive as possible

  • Partner with the founder during meetings to identify action items and next steps and learn the pitch

  • Follow up quickly after meetings with quotes and contracts and stay on top of them until signed

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in Hubspot

  • Continuously identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency.

Required Experience:
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling emails

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Experience selling to legal, HR, finance, or related departments of tech companies

  • Demonstrated smarts - either in school, in a side hustle, or some other way you've shown you learn quickly, deeply, and well

  • Track record of success in sales

Nice to have:
  • You have experience in legal tech or have previously sold technology solutions to legal professionals.

  • You use AI in business yourself and/or are AI native yourself (you use Fathom, Gong, or other AI tools)

  • Familiar with compliance-related aspects of selling software, like SOC II, vendor qualification, and other items that need to be completed to get to launch/close.

Compensation

The expected OTE (on-target earnings) range of compensation starts at $120K to $200K. We give candidates the ability to choose between equity and cash.

What we offer:
Growth & Impact
  • Shape the future of a rapidly growing startup

  • Direct collaboration with founding team

  • Real influence on company strategy and direction

  • A voice that matters - your ideas will be heard and implemented

  • We’re a hybrid company — many roles are remote-friendly, while some teams require meeting in person a couple of days a week in the Bay Area office.

  • High-energy, joyful team environment

  • Mentorship and learning opportunities

  • Clear path for growth in an expanding company

  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and practices

  • Freedom to innovate and own crucial systems
