At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. We're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.
Millennium Space Systems, a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space. Our missions have direct impact to global security, like missile warning and Earth observation.
Our team is curious, bold and innovative. We take risks, innovate and explore new techniques and technologies. We influence change because we challenge the status quo. And when we watch our satellites launch, we know each one of us made it happen.

As a part of this internship, you will help architect Millennium's next generation avionics systems.
Over the course of our 10-12 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:
  • Select avionics and onboard processing units that meet flight software (FSW) and data handling needs while balancing performance, power, mass, and cost
  • Develop C&DH subsystem architectures for Millennium's space vehicle, driving system level design decisions and maintaining alignment with mission objectives and constraints
  • Perform data budget analysis and guarantee positive margins for telemetry, command, and onboard processing streams throughout the mission lifecycle
  • Validate C&DH architectures against program fault management requirements, incorporating redundancy, watchdogs, and error detection mechanisms
