Prepare and review mortgage loan files, gather and verify borrower documentation, order and review appraisals/title/credit reports, submit loans to underwriting, maintain loan records, generate closing documents, and coordinate loan boarding with investors and vendors while providing member service.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage Processor to join our team. If you have previous mortgage processing experience and a passion for providing exceptional service, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do:
- Gather all necessary information to complete loan applications accurately and efficiently
- Submit loans for approval to the Underwriter - ensuring compliance with established time frames
- Review loan documentation to verify the accuracy of the provided information
- Order and review appraisals, title insurance policies, flood certifications, 3-tier credit reports, and other essential documentation
- Maintain loan documentation and databases - ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Generate closing documentation to be signed by borrowers
- Coordinate real estate loan boarding with investors and loan servicing vendors
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members
What You Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of previous mortgage processing experience
- Working knowledge of federal/state regulations impacting the mortgage industry
