About Creative.

At Huge, Creative brings together designers, writers, and technologists to create meaningful digital experiences. We combine creativity, design, technology, and a deep understanding of people to transform complex challenges into intuitive, engaging, and impactful experiences.

Our teams value collaboration, experimentation, and bold creative thinking to deliver work that connects with people and drives meaningful outcomes.

The role.

Huge is looking for a Motion Design Lead to join the Creative Craft team. In this role, you will bridge traditional 2D motion and advanced 3D environments using AI tools to push the boundaries of visual storytelling. You will collaborate with creative teams to concept, storyboard, design, and animate high-fidelity content across broadcast, web, branded content, and immersive digital experiences. We are looking for an expert who can drive motion strategy, elevate visual craftsmanship, and streamline production through cutting-edge technology.

What you’ll be doing.
  • Serve as a key creative collaborator across digital, web, advertising, and video content assignments, aligning motion design solutions with broader campaign objectives.
  • Integrate AI workflows (Gen-AI, neural rendering, automated rotoscoping, and pre-visualization) to rapidly iterate on mood boards, style frames, and streamline production.
  • Create high-end motion graphics, 3D assets, cinematic environments, and spatial experiences for broadcast, web, and emerging digital touchpoints.
  • Execute top-tier look development, lighting, texturing, modeling, and rendering to ensure a premium aesthetic and brand consistency across all 3D deliverables.
  • Develop compelling storyboards and visual concepts that utilize depth, physics, and spatial design to communicate multi-layered narratives.
  • Partner directly with Creative Directors and multidisciplinary teams to develop visual stories from scratch and elevate conceptual ideas into flawless final outputs.
  • Maintain uncompromising standards of design excellence, visual craft, and quality control across all animation and VFX production pipelines.
  • Pitch and communicate technical and visual design concepts effectively to stakeholders, articulating the strategy behind both the aesthetic and technical execution.
  • Drive technical innovation within the team, staying ahead of emerging creative tech trends such as real-time rendering, spatial computing, and AI-assisted workflows.
What we’d like to see.
  • 6+ years of experience in motion design with a heavy, proven emphasis on advanced 3D workflows within integrated agencies or production environments.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing unique conceptual ideas, motion graphics, and high-fidelity 3D visual effects (VFX) within advertising and digital campaigns.
  • Technical mastery in Cinema 4D (Redshift/Octane), After Effects, and Figma, alongside a solid foundation as a 3D generalist (modeling, lighting, texturing, rendering).
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI platforms (e.g., NanoBanana, Midjourney, Topaz, Firefly) into production pipelines for texture enhancement, upscaling, or asset generation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with Creative Directors and cross-functional teams to bring stories to life.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Nice to have: Hands-on experience with real-time engines (Unreal Engine 5 or Unity) and familiarity with interactive motion platforms (Lottie, Rive, Spline).
  • Nice to have: Advanced VFX experience in Houdini or Maya, exposure to AR/VR/XR spatial design, and proficiency in audio/video editing tools (Premiere, Audition, DaVinci Resolve).

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.
